LOOK OF THE DAY 27-12-09

Hey ya'll!
I'm feeling a bit lazy and bored these days due to holidays so I created this Lady Gaga inspired look to add some GAGA-ness to my life ^^

THE GAGA SIDE OF LIFE

The Look:
Lady Gaga is known for breaking almost every fashion rule without looking silly or too slutty. She uses lots of elements from the 80s and combines it with fetish and a touch of futuristic fashion.
I used mostly black items to make this look more mysterious with a cropped 80s Style bra top
combined with black velvet studded hot pants!

Make-Up:
Of course there's no Gaga look without any fancy fake lashes, so I chose some black LACE lashes! Other long and thick lashes will do too!
Make sure you use bright Make-Up! Flashy Lipstick like 'Centrifuchsia', 'Countessa Fluorescent' or even 'No she didn't' by Lime Crime would be great for a dramatic look!

Accessoires:
I've noticed Lady Gaga barely wears any necklaces but focusses more on shoes, gloves and headpieces.
The black mask fits perfect for the ultimate Lady Gaga Style and with the XXL bow headband I made you'll look 100% like her! Wear some studded bracelets or even studded gloves!
For the shoes I chose some High Heel sandals by Givenchy with lots and lots of black studs!! If you can't find similar shoes in your shoe stores just make them yourself!
YES! Pimp your shoes! :) Get some metal studs either from Hot Fix or the ones with scres and glue them to your shoes. That's it! Life can be so simple right? And Gaga ;)
Hope you like this look!

xoxo

LOOK OF THE DAY 26-12-09

LOOK OF THE DAY featuring AKASHA COUTURE's 'LIMEY KITTEN' Top combined with a sequined vest-skirt and an uber-hip sequin Beret hat!
Classy but still Girlie and perfect for a night out or even NYE!

I chose the black glossy pleather Ankle Boots by D&G but as Ankle Boots are extremly trendy atm. I bet you'll find some similar ones in your fave shoe store aswell.
The slightly shimmer tights just add some more glam to it...but simple black opaque tights will do it too :)
If you choose to wear this outfit with a necklace, make sure it's a looooooooong one with only one pendant like this silver key necklace I chose.
You can also replace the necklace by adding a brooch to the fur vest, but DON'T choose to wear both accessoires!

Rock Star Skirt by Forever21
Fur Shrug by Pierotucci

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

TREATING MYSELF WITH SOME GOOOOOOOOOD STUFF ^^

I know I've already showed you my new clothing labels - I used the scans from the sellers blog so this time this is a photo taken by me and it shows the whole box I've received!
To finally hold them in my hands is just awesome lol and I'm so glad they turned out that good!
WORLDWIDELABELS every1!

The same day I had these wonderful fabrics in the mail!
So glad I ordered the pink one in time, now it's sold out!!! It's a wonderful and cozy hot pink sweater knit wit ha cute black herat/argyle-ish design.
The other one is a red cotton knit with black guns printed \m/(*_*)\m/
Don't think I support violence - I don't! I will turn this into some kind of 'Against-Violence' garment!
Can't wait to show you what I made out of these ones!!!

And of course some new make-up for the lady ^^
I bought these two eyeshadows from P2 from their 'Universe'' collection! I think the casing looks just like a planet in my oppinion ^^
Anyways...they're pretty hard to open though, I bought the colors '030-forbidden venus' and '060-opulent jupiter' as far as I can remember they only had one more color which was some kind of dark-bronze-colored-brown...too dark for my eyes I guess :P
And of course I had to buy my all-time-favorite 'Multi Action' mascara from Essence!
AAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNDDD yes, you may laugh at me now, cause I've just bought the first sharpener in my life! ^^ I used to either throw the blunt pencils away or I palm them off to my mom ^^

You know, even my bank account balance says -43,89€ right now, there are times you just have to treat yourself with things like that for all your hard work. Simple things that make you happy! I've been working my ass off lately and still I have nothing left but right now I don't care...it's Christmas...I'm lookinf forward to a have a few days off and as I know I don't get any presents, I have to present myself ^^
Hope you're all having a great Christmas, enjoy the holidays with your families!!!

YUMMY CHRISTMAS

I....CAN'T....STOP...BAKING!!!

I made some Christmas Cupcakes ^^ vanilla cupcakes with chocolate chips, chocolate frosting and some red heart sprinkles!!
It took me a whole day to bake all these cupcakes, cookies, vinalla kipfel and cocos macrones! ^^
And yes, I'll also make some New Year's Eve-Cupcakes!
I could so survive just by eating cupcakes all day (*_*)

That's all that is left...I didn't eat anything of it yet lol instead of buying shit for everyone I thought I just give everyone some cupcakes and cookies...

want some? ^^

Was gabs noch?

Angebotsvielfalt:
Preise:
Stimmung:

Größe/Platz:
Location:

Glücklichkeitsfaktor nach der Messe:

♥ = boooo!!! | ♥ = najaaaaaaa...geht auch besser | ♥ = is jut so | = XD |
= GEILOMAT

FAZIT: Da geht noch was! Verpsrochen! ;)

STUTTGART TRIP - ALWAYS WORTH A VISIT!

FLAMING STAR

What a day! xoxo Akasha

New Clothing Labels!!!

I totally forgot to order new clothing labels so atm I'm using my OOOOOLD OLD OLD OLD ones lol....black with golden "Akasha" logo on it!

These ones were my last labels I used and I LOVED THEM!
But I got them from a German retailer which is REALLY expensive in my oppinion...though I really love my labels. But 110€ for 300pc is way too much! I think I'll keep the last one as a memory :)

But it was time for some new labels so I thought I should get some for my regular clothing and some for my Couture pieces so this is how they turned out:

Can't wait to receive them and sew them in the new garments I made!!!
I got these ones from Worldwidelabel on Etsy - 300pc for only $40.95 that's why I was able to order 300pc of each design this time. Gives me a little space until I have to order again next time ^^

Think I'll also order some for my Kids' clothing :)

So what do you think?...wich one do you like the most?

They deserve a home!

So today we went to the animal shelter in Mannheim, Germany for their annual Christmas "party". I was really affected: last year they had about 15 dogs in the shelters...this year they had about 30 dogs!!! Plus Cats, birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, geese, pigeons, a pony and a lamb!!!! And I bet it's getting more when some people "bring back their christmas presents". Really sad :(

If there's a shelter in your area please make sure to stop by and donate something...doesn't matter if it's money, food or toys...it all helps!

Since I already adopted Cookie last year this is how we wanted to help the animals in the shelter:

We donated 10kg dry feed for dogs, 5kg dry feed for cats, 20 cans feed for dogs, veg flakes, 2kg of dog treats, some blankets and even Cookie donated 10 balls and ropes! Good girl ^^

And here's Cookie impatiently waiting to be let out of the car!

This is what their storage looked like when we got there.

This must be the coolest bed for cats EVER!

Here are some of the dogs that are waiting for a new home

These two were sooooo cute! Very cuddly!!

I was sooo in love with this one!!! Sooo cute! He was making funny noises cause he wanted me to pet him lol

And here's Cookie playing with some new friends ^^

And this is the storage when we left 2 hours later
